Christmas in Farnham

Start

Something new? Grow that idea!

Since starting in 2000 Farnham Churches Support, the working name of Farnham Christian Community Trust, has supported a number of projects to get off the ground including Farnham Food Bank, Farnham Assist, Farnham Frontline and Caring Families Together.

Farnham Churches Support provides a legal and charitable framework for projects. This means projects don’t have the expense and effort needed to operate their own charity, and means inter-church projects don’t have to reside within a single church's charitable framework.

Farnham Churches Support can provide all that is needed to safely support projects. Our goal is to free projects to focus on what they are passionate about and therefore more easily be salt and light in our community! If you have an idea and you want to start something, we would love to chat about how we could support your dreams and visions.

All new projects we support need to meet the following criteria - however, if you do have concerns about the finances, please get in touch with us and we will see if we can support you to seek funding:

1.

Projects must appoint a Christian Project Leader, who is prepared to champion the Project for at least 24 months, either voluntarily or, if project finances allow, as an employee.

2.

Projects must be a collaboration or partnership of Christians from two or more Churches in Farnham, and have the support of their Church Leadership.

3.

Projects must have sufficient finances to initially operate for at least 24 months, either through existing grants, donations or pledges - we can help you work through grant applications and seek to find funding.

If you'd like to chat more and share your ideas, please contact the Farnham Churches Support Trustees.
